CODE OF SPORTS ETHICS FOR RYABININ CAMPS

This Code establishes the ethical and professional standards for all camp participants (including athletes, parents, and accompanying persons). This Code helps create a healthy, supportive, and effective atmosphere where every figure skater can grow, develop, and succeed.

Rules of Interaction and Focus

Together, we shape the athlete's healthy attitude towards figure skating and training.

• Focus on Effort: Always praise the athlete for their effort, perseverance, and progress, not just the result. Remind them that mistakes are an integral part of learning.
• Maintain Balance: Remember that figure skating is only one part of life. Support the athlete's academic performance, social interests, and ensure they have time for proper rest.
• Positive Language: Use only positive, encouraging, and constructive language when communicating with athletes, coaches, and other participants.

Respect for the Training Process

Trust in the coaching staff and maintaining professional boundaries are key to the camp's effectiveness.

• Trust the Professionals: Fully trust the knowledge, experience, and decisions of the coach. The coach is responsible for the technical, physical, and psychological preparation of the athlete.
• Group Assignment: Groups are formed strictly by skating level for the maximum benefit of the athlete. Initial placement is based on your application, but the coaching staff reserves the right to move a skater to a group that better matches their actual skills. Trust the coaches: their decision guarantees progress rather than catering to personal preferences.
• Keep Your Distance: Never interfere with the process, do not stand right at the boards, and do not give instructions to the athlete or coach during the session. This distracts everyone, undermines the coach's authority, and can be unsafe.
• Communication Channels: It is strictly forbidden to distract coaches during classes. All personal questions and discussions must be arranged in advance and take place off the ice so as not to disrupt the athletes' concentration.

Confidentiality and Team Ethics

• Intellectual Property: Ryabinin Camps teaching methods are the intellectual property of the coaching staff. Detailed video recording of the training process (coach's explanations, other athletes' exercises) is strictly prohibited. In accordance with the Camp Rules, you are allowed to record only your own child without interfering with the training.
• Group Dynamics: Make decisions considering not only your personal needs but also the interests of other children and the entire training group. Together we create a team environment.

Responsibilities and Personal Example

• Equipment Preparation: Ensure that the athlete arrives at training on time, in clean sportswear, with sharpened skates, and all necessary equipment.
• Respect for Others: Refrain from criticizing other figure skaters, their coaches, or parents. Create an atmosphere of mutual support.
• Be a Role Model: Be an example of sportsmanship: treat organizers, arena staff, and all participants with respect.
