Stretching for figure skaters is an important part of the training process. Regular stretching training significantly reduces injury risk, and muscle tension, allows you to recover elasticity, and learn new positions in figure skating, which can be learned with well-stretched muscles and tendons. It is more effective to attend stretching classes after physical fitness training sessions when the muscles are well warmed up and can be stretched better. Skaters need a good stretch, and the sooner you start attending stretching sessions, the better the result will be. The Alexander Ryabinin Figure Skating Academy offers stretching training during the figure skating camps with the Ryabinin Camps Team. Training is conducted by qualified coaches who have experience working with children and adult skaters.
