An Independent Perspective
Figure skating is a complex system where a mistake in choosing equipment, a coach, or a seasonal plan can cost an athlete years of progress. If you feel that progress has stalled, or you doubt the correctness of your chosen path, you need an independent expert opinion. We don't just give advice. We conduct a professional audit of your situation based on international ISU standards and years of experience. You get a clear answer to the question "What to do next?".
What is included in the consultation?
Jump Technique Video Analysis: Why do elements fail? We conduct a frame-by-frame analysis of all jump phases: preparation, loading, take-off, flight, and landing. We identify hidden technical errors that the "blurred" eye of a regular coach might miss.
Professional Equipment Selection: Incorrect boot stiffness or blade curvature causes 30% of injuries and failed landings. We check if your equipment (skates, blades) matches your skating level and body weight.
Career Planning: Should you change coaches? How to structure the training season to peak at the main competition? We provide a realistic assessment of prospects.
ISU Protocol Review: Why are your Component Scores (PCS) low, or why are you losing levels on spins? We translate from "judge language" to plain English and create a concrete action plan (drills and corrections) to recover lost points.
Who conducts the audit?
Alexander Ryabinin - Head Coach & Biomechanics Expert An international-level specialist in multi-rotation jump techniques. Responsible for the technical foundation, physical conditioning (Off-ice/On-ice), and long-term athlete development strategy. He sees not just the consequence of an error, but its root cause in the biomechanics of the movement, providing a step-by-step algorithm to fix it.
Our Certified ISU Technical Specialists Active officials with inside knowledge of the judging system. Experts in rules, Levels of Difficulty, and GOE criteria. They will translate your performance into the language of numbers, explaining exactly where you are losing points and how to increase your technical score without learning new ultra-C elements.
How it works
You send a video of your program run-through or a list of questions in advance.
We meet on Zoom (video call).
We share the screen, analyze the video frame by frame, draw biomechanical diagrams, and provide a concrete action plan.
Who needs this?
Parents who want to understand their child's real potential.
Adult skaters (Amateurs) who lack a theoretical base.
Coaches who need a colleague's advice (supervision) on a difficult case.
