Coaching Team for International Figure Skating Camps
The Ryabinin Camps team unites specialized experts from Europe and Russia. We have moved away from the outdated "one coach for everything" model and created a system where a dedicated expert works on each aspect of skating. This guarantees comprehensive athlete development: from complex jump techniques to mental resilience and artistry.
Leadership and Founders
Alexander Ryabinin — Founder and Head Coach
Author of a unique jump training methodology that combines the classical school with modern biomechanical analysis. A graduate of the St. Petersburg Figure Skating School. He personally oversees the training process and the camp's technical strategy.
Anna Kornisheva — Co-founder and Chief Coordinator
Responsible for organization, safety, and participant comfort. Anna manages the logistics of the camps so that parents can relax while children train effectively in a supportive, family-like atmosphere.
Our Team of Experts
Under the guidance of the founders, a team of certified specialists works at the camp to cover all needs of a modern figure skater:
ISU Technique and Rules
Our team includes Technical Specialists and active Figure Skating Judges. They conduct program audits, help achieve maximum Levels for spins and step sequences, and correct technical errors that could lead to GOE deductions in competitions.
Choreography and Direction
To improve the Presentation score (Second Mark), we engage professional Theater Directors and Choreographers. They help athletes create memorable images, teaching acting skills, body lines, and arm movements to turn a sports performance into art.
Skating Skills and Ice Dance
Skating culture is taught by Masters of Sports in Ice Dance. They teach singles skaters blade mastery, deep edges, soft gliding, and complex turns (rockers, counters, choctaws), which are the foundation for high component scores.
Health, Psychology, and Biomechanics
We prioritize safety. Our team includes experts in Biomechanics and Sports Psychologists. Athletes undergo vestibular training, engage in "Smart Stretching" (safe flexibility development), and learn to cope with pre-competition anxiety.
All coaching team members hold higher degrees in sports education, Master of Sports titles, and international certificates.
We speak the same language as the world. The primary training process is conducted in English, Russian, and German.
To ensure the best communication and support for athletes, our coaches also utilize Latvian, Polish, Czech, French, Finnish, Slovak, Ukrainian, and Belarusian languages.
