Anastasiya Sammel – Figure Skating Coach: Skating Skills & Biomechanics
Anastasiya Sammel is a unique specialist at Ryabinin Camps. She combines Ice Dance mastery with deep anatomical knowledge, focusing on the functional preparation of the skater's body.
Anastasiya is an expert in Smart Stretching and Biomechanics. She doesn't use passive force; she understands muscle physiology. Her methodology allows athletes to achieve maximum flexibility (splits, Biellmann) without pain or injury, using correct body leverage.
Biomechanics & Stretching
Parents value Anastasiya for her scientific approach. She knows exactly how the body works and helps achieve results faster.
Methodology:
- Anatomical Approach: Stretching based on joint structure. Anastasiya explains how to rotate the hip or back so the element becomes easy.
- Special Elements: Developing positions for Biellmann spins, laybacks, and split jumps.
- Safety: Developing flexibility through relaxation and correct muscle engagement, avoiding dangerous force.
Mastery of Gliding (Ice Dance)
As an Ice Dance medalist, Anastasiya teaches virtuoso blade control.
On the Ice:
- Skating Skills: Soft knees, deep edges, and silent gliding.
- Twizzles & Steps: Teaching complex turns (choctaws, rockers) and high-speed twizzles.
- Presentation: Refining body lines and arm movements for higher component scores.
"Flexibility is not about forcing the body, but understanding biomechanics. I will teach you to control your body so that complex elements feel effortless." — Anastasiya Sammel
